Because that's the other thing about shooting on film: it isn't just the moment of the shutter.
It's everything after. The waiting. The not-knowing. The images sitting quietly in a drive while life moves on, until one day they're ready to be seen.
 
Julia takes us back to Indonesia, 2025 — an archive finally let loose. Skin and sand in constant negotiation, the coastline gripping onto everything it touches before the ocean pulls it back out again. This is jungle meeting ocean at the exact point where neither wins. Soft, humid, unresolved.
 
Kateryna carries us to the other side of the globe — Portugal, 2024. No performance here, just Kate stripped back to herself, sea breeze doing what it does. Sun-glowed and unguarded, this is film at its most honest: capturing a person simply enjoying being in her own skin.
 
And then Luna brings it home. Cape Town, in all its contradiction — black and white meeting the city's built-in contrast. Indoors and out, gloom and sunshine, mist rolling through frame after frame. Luna doesn't share the spotlight in this one. She is the spotlight, in every space she moves through. Three women. Three years. Three coastlines. One nerve, running through all of it — the willingness to be caught exactly as they are, and let the film decide the rest.
